Our lovely village hall is situated in the peaceful rural village of Dunsden, just to the north east of Reading.  Dunsden is one of a group of hamlets that make up the South Oxfordshire parish of Eye & Dunsden, the others being Playhatch and Sonning Eye.

The hall is currently being extensively updated as part of a major improvement plan, the Main Hall re-opened in December and the Palmer Room is planned for completion towards the end of January/early February.

As well as being a venue for regular classes and clubs, and for family events of all kinds, the hall is a perfect venue for our occasional musical and theatrical performances. Tickets for the forthcoming concert by award-winning folk duo Ninebarrow (26 January) are now available via our online Box Office.

As a young man, the poet Wilfred Owen was lay assistant to the vicar at Dunsden Church; later he served as a soldier in WW1 and lost his life in Ors, northern France one week before the end of the war.  Dunsden is also the home of the award winning Loddon Brewery, established in 2002.
